Trio Return To Take On Rangers

Delaney and Marney were suspended for last Saturday's draw with Middlesbrough, while the risk wasn't taken on Barmby's fitness, but all three look set to start tomorrow in the game with QPR, who are just one place and three points ahead of City.

Centre back Delaney is expected to come in as a straight swap for Danny Coles, to pick up where he left off in his defensive partnership with Michael Turner.

Marney, deputised by Ryan France last week, could come back into the midfield with David Livermore and Ian Ashbee. France would either move to right-back in place of Sam Ricketts or drop to the bench.

Stuart Elliott looks most likely to be sacrificed for Barmby, who will start in a three-man attack with Jon Parkin and Steve McPhee. Nicky Forster, who came off the bench to score against Middlesbrough, and Darryl Duffy are also in contention.

First year pro's Matt Plummer and Nicky Featherstone are expected to drop out of the matchday 16 now that Craig Brown has a full squad to choose from.

Expected line-up (4-3-3): Boaz Myhill; Sam Ricketts, Michael Turner, Damien Delaney, Andy Dawson; Dean Marney, Ian Ashbee, David Livermore; Nick Barmby, Jon Parkin, Steve McPhee.
Subs: Matt Duke, Danny Coles, Ryan France, Stuart Elliott, Nicky Forster.
