Who Are Ya?: Coventry City

The Gameplan
4-4-2 has been our normal formation and since Iain Dowie was appointed, the gameplan is crisp passing and getting the ball into the box as quickly as possible. "Hoofball" as favoured by Micky Adams has thankfully been given the boot.

Dowie has brought to the club defending from the front with strikers tracking back and chasing the ball. Every player now runs themselves into the ground for the cause.

Mistakes tend to be how the Sky Blues concede goals. Andy Marshall dropped one for Southampton's goal in our last home game whilst a breakdown in communication saw us concede late at Norwich City.

Iain Dowie has three players suspended in Kevin Kyle as well as defenders Robert Page and Andy Whing. Out injured are Colin Cameron, Don Hutchison and Kevin Thornton.

The new Coventry boss is hoping to bring someone in on loan ahead of the game, who will probably get a place on the bench.

Probable team
Andy Marshall - Keeper who is amongst the favourites for player of the year. Excellent shot stopper

Adam Virgo - Mr Versatile. Happy in defence or up front, has played at right back before.

Colin Hawkins - A top class defender back at the club after being released as a youngster and proving that releasing him was a mistake.

Elliott Ward - Former West Ham centre half who has been solid in defence for the Sky Blues this season. Back from injury but showing some good form and has risen to the job of captain.

Marcus Hall - The Coventry is probably in the best form of his career in his second spell at the Sky Blues.

Isaac Osbourne - Tough tackling defender who was the Sky Blue Trust Young Player Of The Year last season.

Stephen Hughes - A player neglected by Micky Adams but showed he is a model professional and has worked hard to get back in the team.

Michael Doyle - Recent events have proved that Doyler has the support of the fans which along with the appointment has influenced his decision to stay. A tough tackling midfielder.

Jay Tabb - What he lacks in height, he makes up for in effort. More than happy to run all day.

Dele Adebola - A grafter up front. Possesses a lovely shot.

Leon McKenzie - Good at running at defences and a handful inside the area.
