Why Are They Tolerated?

I sat looking at Look North on Monday night wondering when I was going to see Adam Pearson appear condenming the idiots that threw rocks at the Boston Supporters Club coaches - alas my wait was in vain.

And for the next couple of hours the thought kept comng into my mind: "Why wouldn't he have wanted to take the chance to round on the hooligan element and say the right thing and send out the message that these acts won't be tolerated?"

Why? Why? Why?

But suddenly it dawned on me like the flash of lightening that born again christians get when they say they've "seen the light and got religion."

He's damned if he does and he's damned if he doesn't.

On the one hand, as chairman of Hull City, he surely has to come out and say it's disgraceful and all efforts will be put into catching the offenders.

But wait, if he does, he'd only be criticising himself because he owns the bloody company whose incompetance led to the event ever taking place! So like anyone would do, who is getting shot at from all sides, he ran for cover, got his head down and hoped it would all blow over and everyone would run out of amnunition.

So once again the nutters who pedal their malious and vicious doctrines week after week at the KC Stadium win.

A wise man once said: "When you see something wrong happening and you pass by on the other side of the road, you are just as guilty as if you did the deed yourself."

He was indeed wise and he was indeed right.

Food for thought don't you think?
