Well it's Chrimbo time again which is traditionally a time to have a good look at your team's results and figure out what can be expected over the final months of the season.

The draw at Charlton was a good point for us and if the folks that were there are to be believed then we could easily have grabbed all 3. Very encouraging performance indeed which bodes well for the games coming up. However, as we are all aware the only thing consistent about Hull City is our inconsistency!Hopefully we can maintain some form and pick up enough points in the next 4 games to keep us within shouting distance of a play-off spot, which would make for an exciting second half of the season.

I have actually been working in Dallas all week - a place I don't particularly like. It's kinda unfriendly and reminds me a lot of London with a funny accent. I did get to see the Texas Book Depository and looked out the window from where Kennedy was shot and I even got my picture taken on the grassy knoll! Didn't have my City shirt on though, otherwise it would have been a good one for the City magazine feature "Tigers Abroad."

Anyway I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the Tiger Nation a very merry Christmas, and I hope you all have a wonderful time with your families and that Santa brings us exactly what we want on Christmas morning.

Love from Louisiana

John Firth
