If you imagine those records over the 38 games thus far, under Brown we'd have 54 points. We'd be 10th in the league and 9 points off the play-offs. Under Parky, we'd have 32 points, leaving us 3 points adrift at the bottom and 6 from safety. Interestingly, over an entire season, Parky would gain 39 points, which even Millwall beat last season. Brown would get 64 points, which would have been good enough for 8th last season, although not this. Wolves average 1.7 points per game this season, currently good enough for 5th in the Championship. Brown is not far shy of that.

Phil Brown's Points per game and goals scored records better PT's from last year.

Interesting stuff. Certainly adds weight to Brown's claim for the permanent managership. Only those catastrophic performances against Barnsley and Ipswich and the very poor efforts against Leeds and Leicester are black marks. If we keep up the 1.4 to the end of the season, we'll end up with 52 points, which is what we got last year and would surely be enough for survival. If we win our 4 home games, we'll better last year's tally which would be a tremendous achievement for Brown.
