Vote For Your Goal of the Season

Last updated : 12 June 2008 By Andy Beill
Throughout the season you have voted for your goal of the month, and they are all here to choose from. In addition, Dean Windass's play-off final goal was automatically chosen as the May winner.

August
Stuart Elliott intercepted a poor pass away to Wigan to lob home his first League Cup goal in over 5 years at the club.

September
Henrik Pedersen scored twice in the home win against Ipswich. The second of these was a left-footed shot from a long ball, and is the nominated goal.

October
Fraizer Campbell's second goal in the televised home match against Barnsley came just 11 minutes after his first. He shrugged off the challenges of three defenders to force his way towards goal and shoot across the keeper into the far corner.

November
Andy Dawson came off the bench to complete the 3-0 win over Preston, curling in a trademark free kick.

December
Dean Windass sent City up to 8th at the close of 2007 after his goal was enough to beat Sheffield Wednesday. Having come on as an early substitute, he curled in a long range free kick after 33 minutes which the keeper got nowhere near.

January
In the televised game against West Brom at the KC Stadium, Richard Garcia scored his fifth of the season to give City hope of a comeback. With City trailing 0-2 and 19 minutes remaining on the clock, Garcia cut inside from the right before curling his left-foot shot into the top corner.

February
Fraizer Campbell continued his scoring run in the return game at West Brom. He picked up a pass from Okocha and turned down the chance to set up a teammate, curling in a shot from 25 yards instead.

March
In the first home game of the month, Richard Garcia scored from 30 yards to make it 2-0 against Burnley.

April
Ian Ashbee scored the winner after Crystal Palace had equalised, leaping to place a header from Dean Marney's corner in front of the South Stand.

May
Nick Barmby came forward through the middle before passing to Fraizer Campbell. He was forced wide before looking up to cross to Dean Windass, who hit a first time volley from the edge of the penalty area to defeat Bristol City in the play-off final at Wembley.
