Man of the Match

This is a new feature for the new season, and you will be able to vote on your Man of the Match for every single first team game.

First game of the season against Southend, and City's two scorers, Stuart Green and Stuart Elliott, picked up the majority of the votes, and it was Green, the loanee from Newcastle, who just pipped the Northern Irishman to be our first Hull City Online Man of the Match. Green got over 37%, almost 10% more than Elliott.

Lawrie Dudfield got around 9%, Ryan Williams got 6.5%, and Ian Ashbee got one vote despite not lasting the match thanks to an 85th minute red card. Over 15% went for for an alternative player.

Now you can vote for your Man of the Match at Bristol Rovers last night - click here to do so.

The completion of our 'supporters XI' has been put on the backburner while the Man of the Match votes are taking place, but you should have chance to vote in a week's time.

Our last addition to the team was Ryan Williams, who - perhaps surprisingly - just pipped Stuart Green to the right-sided midfield position by two votes. They were the only real runners and got almost 80% of the votes between them. Click here to see the full results.
