Goal of the Month

City scored in all four games this month. The first was on New Year's Day as the Tigers came from behind to draw at Stoke. Dean Windass crossed from the left and Caleb Folan headed in.

Four days later in the Cup at Plymouth, Dean Windass came off the bench at half time and scored 5 minutes later to pull the score back to 2-1. Nick Barmby flicked the ball on and Windass chipped the ball past Luke McCormick for his first ever goal for City in the FA Cup.

Plymouth extended their lead before Dean Windass struck again to make it 3-2. City were awarded a free kick for a foul on Caleb Folan and Windass curled it in from 35 yards out to go into the club's top ten scorers in all competitions with 82 goals.

In the televised game against West Brom at the KC Stadium, Richard Garcia scored his fifth of the season to give City hope of a comeback. With City trailing 0-2 and 19 minutes remaining on the clock, Garcia cut inside from the right before curling his left-foot shot into the top corner.

City won last night's game at home to Coventry courtesy of a last-minute goal. Wayne Brown played a long ball forward and substitute Caleb Folan capitalised on a missed interception by the Coventry defender. Folan controlled the ball on his chest before lobbing the keeper.
