Brown had picked Marney as the club's new penalty taker before Saturday's game with Leicester, but Dean Windass overruled the decision to step up to take the kick after winning the penalty himself. Fortunately Fraizer Campbell was on hand to score from the rebound after Windass hit the post, and that will be his last penalty for a while.

37.4% of fans who voted in the poll agreed with Brown to give the responsibility from now on to Marney, who scored from the spot at Crystal Palace earlier in the season.

Only 11.6% still have confidence in Dean Windass, marginally more than Andy Dawson (10.9%), Fraizer Campbell (10.2%) and Caleb Folan (10.2%)

Steve McPhee proved an unpopular choice after his failed attempt at chipping a penalty against Cardiff last year.
