Early Runners in Beat The Manager Stakes

Last updated : 13 August 2002 By Andy Beill
No-one guessed that the match would finish 2-2. However, Neil Hutchings, Sam Wilson, Colin Draper and Gringo Starr expected draws, and so head the table in a four-way tie. Each pick up 10 points for getting the correct outcome, but miss out on the extra points by not getting the right scoreline.

We then have 20 teams on 2 points, picked up by getting one of the sides' scores right (for example, if they predicted a 2-0 win to City or a 2-1 Southend win).

We then have six players at the bottom of the league on no points after being totally out in their predictions.

If you would like to join the Beat The Manager game it's not too late; there's still another 45 games to go and a potential 675 points to be won! Click here to sign up, then simply enter your predictions for our upcoming matches.
