Donation to Everyman Charity

The Hull City Online Message Board has sponsored a City player's kit for the past four seasons through the collection of voluntary donations from forum users. As the club is not offering kit sponsorship this season the money collected in the summer, together with the remainder of contributions from previous seasons, totalling £111.90 has instead been given to Everyman.

Everyman is a campaign that was launched by The Institute of Cancer Research in 1997 to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancer and to help fund cancer research.

Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke overcame testicular cancer earlier this year. Duke and his teammates joined in with the 'Tacheback' campaign in October, and collectors will be taking donations outside the KC Stadium ahead of tomorrow's game against Chelsea.

Donations can also be made online at www.everyman-campaign.org where further information on the charity is available.
