Player Ratings: Hull City 1-1 Millwall

Last updated : 26 December 2005 By Andy Beill
Boaz Myhill (7) - Made a great save to keep it at 1-1. Wasn't too troubled otherwise.

Mark Lynch (7) - Glad to see him back and he dealt well with a lot of pressure down his flank, particularly in the first half. Didn't shy away from some strong challenges to block crosses, even after being on the end of a painful-looking tackle that may have worried other players coming back from injury. Possibly at fault for the Millwall goal.

Andy Dawson (7) - Great cross for the goal, about the only decent cross into the box all game. Made some great tackles as well - who says Roland Edge is a better defender?

Leon Cort (6) - Nothing spectacular.

Damien Delaney (6) - Again, nothing spectacular. Had a mix-up with Myhill that could have been costly just before half time.

Stuart Green (6) - Looked alright, but no creativity or end product and without that, what is he to the team?

Stuart Elliott (6) - I'd forgotten after the game that he'd played 45 minutes of today's match.

John Welsh (8) - Has really come on since our last home game. No signs of the silly mistakes he was making at first. Works well with Woodhouse.

Curtis Woodhouse (8) - Showed spirit and determination to win the ball and get City going. Started the move for the goal with a great ball out to Dawson.

Nick Barmby (6) - Played alright but still isn't being used to good enough effect.

Chris Brown (6) - Needs to score. If we're not going to supply him with chances (and we're not), we need someone who can create their own chances.

Ben Burgess (8) - Was at last given a reasonable amount of time on the pitch. We're still treating him like a target for high balls, but he did well in winning them. Great header for the goal. Doesn't look like he could last 90 minutes.

Ryan France (6) - Looked livelier for a few minutes after coming on against more tired legs, but still didn't do much in particular.

Craig Fagan (6) - Wasn't really involved.
