Andy Booth's 53rd minute goal was enough for a 1-0 win at Northampton. Huddersfield now have 79 points with 3 games left. It puts them 5 ahead of 4th-placed Torquay, and 2 behind 2nd-placed Hull City, who drew 2-2 at Southend tonight. Peter Jackson takes his side to the KC Stadium on Saturday, and which ever team wins will seal automatic promotion. Doncaster Rovers meanwhile can make the championship safe if they beat York City on Saturday.

The Minstermen were in action tonight, but failed to take advantage of their game in hand. After taking an early lead through Darren Dunning's 8th minute goal, Yeovil replied through Paul Terry (46) and Andy Lindegaard (70) to win 2-1. York stay second from bottom, while the Glovers go 7th and into the play-off zone.
