Chasing Pack Close In

Doncaster played last night, and an 8th minute Paul Green strike was enough to defeat Northampton. Rovers are now just a point behind the Tigers and have played the same number of games after City's fixture at Boston was postponed. That was one of six matches in Division Three to be rained off this afternoon.

Oxford were in action though and moved back into the top three. Kidderminster midfielder Adam Murray cancelled out Steve Basham's opener in first half stoppage time, before the second half was delayed by 20 minutes due to a problem with the Kassam Stadium roof. It was worth the wait for home fans though as Paul McCarthy headed in a 75th minute winner. The U's are now just three points off the top with one game in hand.

Darren Way saved a point for Yeovil with a disputed goal against Macclesfield, while at the bottom of the table, Cheltenham and Darlington both picked up crucial wins.
