The potential transfer has been up in the air, and now The Posh's manager Barry Fry has confirmed that negotiations have ended with City deciding not to go for the Driffield-born player.

Fry told the official Peterborough site: "I spoke with Peter Taylor today and after our conversation he is now going elsewhere to buy a midfielder for Hull City and that is the end of his interest in Curtis Woodhouse.
"As Curtis said on theposh.com, if he is a Peterborough player at the start of the season, he will continue to give 100% and that will do me."

Taylor has previously shown interest in midfielders Junior Lewis (ex-Leicester) and Kevin Maher (Southend), while Mansfield's Liam Lawrence and Grimsby's Graham Hockless's names have also been touted.
