'Deano', along with Bantams team-mate Ben Muirhead, is in talks with Division Three outfit Darlington.

Quakers boss Dave Hodgson revealed: "Dean wants to come and the move will be agreed subject to what happens at Bradford and with ourselves.
"I sat down with Dean and the talks were extremely encouraging. He understands the situation we're in so we'll just have to wait and see.
"We have made our interest known in Ben but, like Dean, we will have to wait until one or two issues are resolved."

The 35-year-old is currently in his second stint at Bradford. Having joined them for just under £1million in 1999 following spells at Hull City, Aberdeen and Oxford, he then moved on to Middlesbrough two years later. He had short-term stays at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, before rejoining Bradford a year ago. He scored 6 goals in his season back at Valley Parade, captaining the side as they finished in the bottom three.
