Ryan Williams - "gutted" by injury

The winger has gone under the surgeon's knife to repair medial ligament damage in his knee. He is due to be out for six weeks, meaning he will miss the last game at Boothferry Park and the first at the KC Stadium.

He said: "There's never a good time to be injured but this is a nightmare and I'm gutted."

Meanwhile, City are hoping to sign forward Michael Branch on a free transfer. He is currently in the second month of a loan spell from Wolves, but is set to join on a permanent basis.
