West Brom Up First

With fixtures released to the press yesterday but not allowed to be published until 10am this morning, a number of fixtures were leaked to the Hull City Online message board and subsequently removed to comply with the Football League's rules.

They were correct, and showed that City start at West Bromich Albion on Saturday 5th August, and then play Barnsley at home on Tuesday 8th. That's followed by the first Saturday home game, against Derby on the 12th.

Peter Taylor returns to the KC Stadium on 30th September as Crystal Palace come to Hull.

City go to Elland Road to face rivals Leeds United on Saturday 23rd December, then are at home on Boxing Day to Leicester.

That's followed by another home game four days later against Burnley, before 2007 kicks off with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on New Year's Day.

City play Leeds again on the 30th January.

The season ends with away games at Stoke and Cardiff, before a home game for the final day against Plymouth on Sunday 6th May.

Fixtures are subject to change over the next few days to meet individual clubs' circumstances, safety requests and Sky Sports coverage.

Unfortunately we are forbidden to display the full fixture list until the required license, already approved by Hull City, arrives from the Football League. That is expected in the next few days. Until then, try official sources to see the fixture list.
