Hull's latest loan signing Rowan Vine is relishing the chance of rekindling his strike partnership with former QPR team-mate Jay Simpson. Simpson signed a permanent deal at the KC Stadium in August while Vine joined on loan from Rangers on Friday in time to make his debut in Saturday's goalless home draw with Coventry. Vine said: "Jay is a top lad and I played with him at QPR. It's nice to see friendly faces when you come to a new club. "I've played with Jay before and hopefully I can help him. I feel as though I know how to play with him and with time I feel we can get a partnership going. "With two up front and Jimmy Bullard just behind, we will create chances and it's up to us to start taking them."
