Two Out, One In

Jon Parkin has joined Stoke City on loan until the end of the season. The Potters were thought to have made a seven-figure bid for the centre forward earlier in the season, but now have him on loan.

City can recall Parkin any time after the first month of the loan. If stays with them for the rest of the season, he won't be able to play when the Tigers go to the Britannia Stadium in April.

Parkin enjoyed a great start to his City career when he joined from Macclesfield in January 2006, but of his 12 goals for the club only 1 was scored since the end of October. He's recently been replaced in the team by Dean Windass, on loan from Bradford.

Brown has also loaned out Scott Wiseman to Darlington. The defender followed his loan spell with Boston last season by joining Rotherham for this season. He was recalled by Brown in January, but the City boss is seemingly unimpressed and has let him go to Darlington until the end of the season when his contract is expected to be allowed to lapse.

Incoming is Bolton striker Ricardo Vaz Te. The 6'2" current Portugese Under-21 international will spend a month with his former Bolton coach Phil Brown at City. None of his 7 Trotters goals have been scored this season despite making 5 starts and 21 substitute appearances. Subject to FA clearance, he'll be able to play in tomorrow's game against Preston.
