Trouble at the Circle

City moving into the new stadium by the end of the year is in jeopardy as construction is thought to be at least one week behind schedule due to "recent bad weather".

That means that the match against Hartlepool on Boxing Day may not be the first game, and it could be one of the fixtures in January instead.

Meanwhile, the seating design has caused major unrest amongst City supporters. It has been revealed that 80% of the seats are black, 16% are white, and only 4% are amber. Apparently there was a mistake made when the first seats were installed, with only one row of amber seats put in instead of three as was planned.

Currently seats are being changed around due to the word 'Hull' which is spelt across the stand using different coloured seats. It has been written in italic scripting but it has been decided to change this to block lettering. It may also mean removing all of the seats already installed and totally re-arranging them.

It is expected that fans will raise the issue to Adam Pearson - chairman of Hull City and head of the Stadium Management Company - at the first supporters' committee meeting on Monday.
