Tigers on Form

During the whole of December 2010 and into the new year, city fans have seen one of the best form runs in a long time. Out of the last 6 games, City have managed e very respectful 3 wins and 2 draws which any Hull City Fan would have bought at the end of November when a relegation dogfight looked to be somewhere on the cards. It seemed as though, the colder the weather got, the more the City squad rolled thier sleeves up and ground out very gritty results. having witnessed 2 3-2 victories in the last 4 games the one against Sheffield united was certainly the sweetest and it must be said that Nicky Barmby has been inspirational and Fryatt's goal at Pompey, a dream start to his newly adopted club.

As City stand (15th) on 33 points, it is bizarre that they are only 6 points away from the play off zone albeit with a game more played than Cardiff and Watford...Dare we dream?...nah...we will hopefully consolidate in the top half of the table with plenty to be very proud about in anticipation for next season, where, incedentally I don't think we will see Ash take any further part as a member of the playing staff due to injury and age, As for Nicky Barmby...well maybe he has got one more promotion season in him. Lets hope so.
