City have confirmed the signing of Daniel Cousin on a three-year contract for an "undisclosed fee", reported to be £1.5m, double what Rangers paid Lens just over a year ago. The season-long loan of Kamil Zayatte has also been confirmed on the club's official website.
With Paul McShane also recently joining on loan, Phil Brown has now added 12 players to his squad since the end of last season.
None of City's players left the club during the transfer window, although Football League clubs can make loan signings in a week's time until November.
