Tigers Meet Shrimpers

Southend came from behind to win 2-1 at Cheltenham on Tuesday in the first round. The second round tie will take place at the KC Stadium on Tuesday 25th August or the day after, the third home game in a week for City.

They finished 8th in League One last season, five points off a play-off place.

The last meeting was in 2007, a 4-0 Championship win for City. Southend have only won twice in Hull, and both of those victories happened in the early 1960's.
