Alton Thelwell - injured again
The 23-year-old, who was restricted to just 22 league starts last season due to injuries following his free transfer from Spurs, has picked up a cartilage cist.

After already missing the final friendly against Birmingham two days ago, he is now set for at least another 3 weeks on the sidelines, ruling him out of the season opener this Saturday.

Richard Hinds is set to deputise at right-back as he did for much of last season.

Meanwhile, centre back Leon Cort has returned to training after a foot injury prevented him from taking part in any of the pre-season friendlies. Once he reaches match fitness it will give Peter Taylor more options in defence, with the possibility of Marc Joseph switching to right-back.
