Bristol Rovers 1-3 Mansfield Town (attendance: 8,451)
Mansfield go up to 4th with their second win in a week. Junior Mendes (10th minute) gave them an early lead, then Craig Disley (13 & 41) struck twice to give them a 3-0 advantage at half time. Rovers had no response until Paul Tait despatched a penalty in stoppage time, but the visitors were always going to get the 3 points.

Bury 2-0 York City (attendance: 2,282)
Bury got a much needed 3 points after going four games without a win. Chris Porter set them off with a 37th minute strike, and Joe O'Neill got his first ever goal 20 minutes from time to seal the win.

Cambridge United 3-3 Doncaster Rovers (attendance: 3,492)
Cambridge threw away a 3 goal lead to give Doncaster a point. Shane Tudor opened after just 9 minutes, and Dave Kitson scored 10 minutes either side of half time to make it 3-0. However, within 8 minutes Rovers had hit back with 2 goals. Francis Tierney got the first before Mark Albrighton headed the second, and Tim Ryan's 75th minute goal from all of 30 yards was worthy of a point as the visitors levelled. Cambridge almost got nothing from the game as Andy Duncan brought down Ryan in the box 3 minutes from time, but Shane Marshall saved Paul Barnes' penalty.

Carlisle United 0-1 Leyton Orient (attendance: 4,650)
Bottom club Carlisle played host to second from bottom Leyton Orient, and it was the managerless visitors who came out on top. Carlisle failed to convert from a number of good first half chances, and were made to pay midway through the second half. Between them, Peter Murphy and goalkeeper Matt Glennon were unable to deal with Tom Newey's cross, and Jabo Ibehre tapped into the empty net to move Orient out of the relegation zone.

Darlington 0-0 Southend United (attendance: 4,369)
After Southend ended a 13-match losing streak away from home with a draw at Scunthorpe on Saturday, they were seeking their first away win since March this evening. They should have got the full three points from Darlington, but failed to make the most of some good chanes. The Quakers are now unbeaten in six.

Huddersfield Town 1-0 Kidderminster Harriers (attendance: 8,275)
Terriers forward Jon Stead scored his 9th of the season in the 12th minute, and his solitary goal was enough for the win. They move into the top half of the table for the first time this season, and are just a point off 7th place.

Hull City 1-0 Swansea City (attendance: 20,903)
There was much hype before league leaders Swansea went to 2nd place Hull City this evening, and kick-off was delayed by 15 minutes to allow the 20,903 crowd - the biggest seen in Division Three so far this season - into the KC Stadium. Stuart Elliott's header delighted the majority of them as the Tigers took the lead in the 27th minute, and despite hitting the woodwork twice in the second half, the visitors couldn't find a way back. Richard Duffy was sent off 9 minutes from time for hacking at Elliott, and Peter Taylor's team kept out the ten men from Wales to go top of the table.

Lincoln City 0-0 Northampton Town (attendance: 3,928)
Northampton - who recently sacked manager Martin Wilkinson - were lucky to go in at the break on level terms, but did threaten in the second half through Josh Low. Lincoln came closest to scoring when Gary Fletcher hit the bar midway through the second half but there was to be no breakthrough.

Macclesfield Town 2-1 Rochdale (attendance: 2,152)
Chris Shuker (51) had put Rochdale in front after a goal-less first half, but the home side hit back thanks to an own goal in the 67th minute when Danny Adams' left-wing cross was turned into the Rochdale net by defender Daryl Burgess at the near post. Danny Whitaker (74) then scored with a free kick on the edge of the box to give Macclesfield their second win of the season.

Scunthorpe United 5-2 Cheltenham Town (attendance: 2,857)
Steve McClean and Peter Beagrie scored for Scunthorpe before Bob Taylor gave Cheltenham hope just before half time. McClean restored the two goal lead 7 minutes into the second half, and then completed his hat-trick with a penalty 11 minutes from time. Forward Steve Torpey ended his run of nine games without a goal to head in the Iron's 5th, before Grant McCann reduced the deficit with a late penalty.

Yeovil Town 2-0 Boston United (attendance: 5,093)
Boston weren't at the races as Yeovil cruised to victory and back into the top three. Gavin Williams made it 1-0 with a 21st minute penalty, and Adam Lockwood headed in the second to make it 5 wins in 6 for the Glovers.
