Facey, who was born in Huddersfield and went through the Terriers youth ranks to the first team, rejoined them on a month's loan from City at the weekend. He played 90 minutes in their 2-1 win over Oldham, and had a hand in both goals. Jackson says he wants to keep the 24-year-old centre forward after that taster.

He told the Huddersfield Examiner: "I'm very keen to make Delroy's move permanent if at all possible. He's got a lot more experience now than when he left and, while he should have played a lot more games in his career, he will add pace, which is something we've been missing."

The player himself, who is under contract with City for another year, is keeping his options open though.

He said: "I'm concentrating only on the month to start with and next week's game against Bradford - which is as big as it gets for Town in terms of derbies.
"Whether Hull will want me to go back, whether they'll let me stay longer or whether it will become permanent, I just don't know. We'll have to see what happens.
"It just feels good to be here and to be playing and, after getting some stick from the [Huddersfield] fans over at Hull, it was nice to get a good reception from them."

A permanent move back to the side 13th in the League One table may be appealing for the ex-Bolton striker, who has started less than half of Hull City's first team games this season. Town are rumoured to be one of 6 or 7 clubs tracking Facey's availability.
