His old deal would have expired this year, but he's put pen to paper on an extension until June 2007. That will make it five years at the club for the ex-Leicester manager.

He is hopeful that the FA will still want him to continue combining his job with coaching the England Under-21 squad on a part-time basis as well, but if not then his attention will solely be with the Tigers.
