The draw for the LDV Trophy Northern Second Round pits the two Humberside teams against each other at the KC Stadium on Tuesday 4th November (kick-off 7:45pm).

But with the First Round of the FA Cup just a few days later, and the league being paramount over all cup competitions, Taylor will not play his first choice eleven for the local derby.

Instead, he will pick a team similar to the one that defeated Darlington in the first round, which included reserves and younger members of the squad.

Admission prices have been reduced to £9 adults, £4 concessions for all areas of the ground, except the upper tier of the West Stand which will not be opened. The club say in a statement that they wanted to cheapen admission to an even lower price, but £9/£4 was the most Scunthorpe were willing to go down to.

Meanwhile, a reminder has been sent out to fans that Saturday's match-up between City and Lincoln City is all-ticket for both sets of supporters. No cash admission will be allowed on the day.
