His contract would have run out this year, but he has now agreed to lengthen it until 2007. He's expected to continue managing the England Under-21 side on a part-time basis as well.

He revealed to BBC Radio Humberside: "It's something I'm delighted with. As far as I'm concerned things have gone exceptionally well and there's still more to do.
"I've had quite a few letters from supporters all thinking that I'm leaving at the end of the season and they couldn't be further from the truth, so it's about time I said something.
"I just wanted to make sure everybody realised that there's no change at the end of the season and I'm still committed as I ever was when I first walked through the door."
