The defender joined the Quakers in a one-month loan deal on Friday, and made his debut at Leyton Orient on Saturday. The O's won the match 1-0, with ex-Tiger Gary Alexander setting up the goal for Shane Tudor. Stockdale played the full 90 minutes, and got a yellow card. (click here to read full match report)

Scotland international Stockdale has been on the transfer list since the summer and hasn't made a first team appearance this season. He did get a surprise recall to the bench for City's game at Cardiff this month, being favoured to both Mark Lynch and Scott Wiseman, but didn't manage to get on the pitch.

With his contract up in the summer, it looks unlikely that he will add to the 14 appearances he made last season after joining from Rotherham.
