Selection Headache A Relief For Brown

Last updated : 03 February 2007 By Andy Beill
Livermore is expected to start after being unavailable for City's last two games, while Welsh returns to the squad after almost 2 months out injured.

Brown also adds deadline day signing Nathan Doyle to his squad, but the 20-year-old is unlikely to hold down a first team place just yet. Brown considers Doyle as cover for the full back positions.

Steve McPhee is unlikely to return from a hamstring injury just yet, and Brown is backing Jon Parkin, Dean Windass and Nicky Forster despite the trio failing to combine well against Leeds on Tuesday. City even turned down a £100,000 bid from Brighton for Forster after previously making the player available for transfer.

Expected line-up (4-3-3): Boaz Myhill; Sam Ricketts, Michael Turner, Damien Delaney, Andy Dawson; Dean Marney, Ian Ashbee, David Livermore; Jon Parkin, Dean Windass, Nicky Forster.
Subs from: Matt Duke, Danny Coles, Nathan Doyle, Ryan France, John Welsh, Stuart Elliott, Michael Bridges, Darryl Duffy.
