Roberts Pleased With Start

The 23-year-old Welshman is expected to make his fourth appearance in the black and amber against Hartlepool tonight, and if he keeps up his good form then the club may make a move for him.

City manager Brian Little said: "Neil's a smashing lad and he did really well at Halifax. He held the ball up and was always looking to set up other players. He'll probably get the nod tonight and I've no worries about playing him."

Meanwhile Roberts would be interested in staying if the two clubs agree to a deal.
He said: "I'm really enjoying my time at Hull. It's a big club. The players are great and so is the management team.
"I've still got a few games left of my loan spell and we'll have to see how things go. However, if there's a chance I might be able to stay on I'd definitely consider it. At the end of the day, though, it's not my decision. It would depend on Wigan and whether or not Hull want me."
