Secret police officiers and stewards will be on duty in the ground wearing normal clothing in order to catch those guilty of breaking ground rules.

City have got in trouble over fans throwing objects onto the pitch and chanting racist comments, leaving the club in the "last chance saloon" according to Chairman Adam Pearson.

He said: "It was a very constructive meeting and the FA were positive about
the ways in which these problems can be tackled.
"We have worked hard to improve the behaviour of supporters, but the
problems are still on-going and it is now a case of being in the last chance saloon.
"We have suggested a host of different initiatives, including covert
stewards and police and a new eviction policy towards crowd disorder."
