Brian Little said that he was able to pick his first-choice eleven on Saturday against Exeter for virtually the first time this season. However, several key figures are set for spells on the sidelines.

With defensive duo Justin Whittle (hamstring) and Ian Goodison (thigh) already in the treatment room, Mike Edwards and Gary Alexander are also going to be out of the side shortly.

Edwards went into the game last night with a slight groin strain, but appeared to aggravate it and had to be substited ten minutes from time. He won't be fit to face Shrewsbury on Saturday, and is then suspended for the York game on Tuesday.

Alexander will miss the same two games due to suspension. 10 yellow cards for the 22-year-old leaves the Tigers with lightweight attacking options.

Neither Rodney Rowe or Lawrie Dudfield appear to be 100% fit, and so a loan signing is possible.

Brian Little said: "We will try and do something before the weekend and only time will tell if we will be successful.
"Obviously, Gary will be missed but we have to try and win games without him."
