Peter Odemwingie

Peter Odemwingie's rumoured transfer to palace could be upset by late interest shown by Sunderland, West Ham, Fulham and Hull City who have all thrown their hat in the ring as interested parties to secure his services.

At 32 he is not a long term investment but could do a job for City in the interim. The Nigerian international has a career tally of 97 goals with 30 of them being scored in the premiership but the only question to ask is, "Would Odemwingie want to play at Hull City?"

With a price tag of Circa £1.5m, the list of top quality players queuing to come to Hull over the last few years is less than impressive so I feel Bruce will have to put an attractive offer on West Brom's table if we are to get a sniff of him.

So will we see the right sided striker in a black and amber shirt against Chelsea and can city afford his £36K a week salary?
