Pearson plays down Foxes return

Hull manager Nigel Pearson has attempted to take some of the sting out of Saturday's clash at Leicester by playing down his return to the Walkers Stadium. Pearson steered the Foxes to promotion and the npower Championship play-offs in his two years in charge of the club before leaving in the summer to become Phil Brown's permanent successor at Hull, who he takes back to his former club for the first time. The 47-year-old said: "It doesn't matter how I dress it up, Saturday will not be low key and there are sub-plots. "It's a game I'd like to win, just like any other game. It's our next game, so it's important. We've been very positive building up to this game and I've got every confidence in my players. "When there are changes at clubs, sometimes things take a little bit longer than you'd like and that has been the case here." The Tigers have won three of their first 10 league games under Pearson, with their only away win this season coming at Norwich at the end of last month.
