Sheffield-born Ryan France may be available after missing the Leeds game on Saturday with a calf injury. Mark Lynch could be dropped if France is fit.

Craig Fagan is unlikely to recover from an ankle injury in time, so Peter Taylor will have to look at playing any of Nick Barmby, Stuart Elliott, Kevin Ellison and Jason Price up front alongside his only fit striker, Billy Paynter - if he plays a formation with two in attack.

Curtis Woodhouse will be hoping for a recall against one of his former sides, but may have to settle for a place on the bench again. John Welsh is also waiting in the wings for a return to action after being left out of the last three games.

Their chances of a starting place would improve if Andy Dawson doesn't play, and Damien Delaney switches from midfield to left back. Dawson could have 'flu coming on, and his condition will be assessed before the teamsheets go in this evening.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Boaz Myhill; Mark Lynch, Leon Cort, Sam Collins, Andy Dawson; Jason Price, Keith Andrews, Damien Delaney, Kevin Ellison; Billy Paynter, Nick Barmby.
Subs: Matt Duke, Scott Wiseman, Curtis Woodhouse, Stuart Green, Stuart Elliott.
