The two former Bolton players are yet to make a first team appearance since joining the club on free transfers, and depending on fitness will either start the game or be on the bench.

£1million signing Caleb Folan will make his home debut up front alongside Dean Windass.

Phil Brown will be considering changes in the full back positions, with Sam Ricketts tipped to come in at right back to add some more height against Stoke's tall frontline.

The City boss will also have to decide whether to stick with Matt Duke in goal or recall Boaz Myhill.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Boaz Myhill; Sam Ricketts, Michael Turner, Wayne Brown, Damien Delaney; Richard Garcia, Ian Ashbee, Dean Marney, Henrik Pedersen; Caleb Folan, Dean Windass.
Subs from: Matt Duke, Andy Dawson, Danny Coles, Nathan Doyle, David Livermore, Bryan Hughes, Jay-Jay Okocha, Nicky Featherstone, Stuart Elliott, Michael Bridges, Steve McPhee.
