Norris and Lightbourne Leave

New manager Jan Molby is looking to the future as he assesses his squad, and the two loanees will clearly have no part to play at Hull City next season.

After making a spectacular start - scoring within minutes of coming off the bench - Norris returns to Bolton having failed to make a massive impact at Boothferry Park.

Lightbourne goes back to Macclesfield with a shoulder injury, failing to score in any of his four games with City.

Lawrie Dudfield is expected to play in place of Lightbourne. The former Leicester forward has only scored once since netting at Scunthorpe in December.

Meanwhile Justin Whittle will be fit to return. He will replace Mark Greaves, who is struggling with injury.

Mike Edwards and Richard Sneekes are also thought to have come out of Saturday's game with knocks. Ben Petty will move to right-back in Edwards' absence, with Lee Philpott and Julian Johnsson will probably form the central midfield partnership.

Ryan Williams is another expected to drop out, with Andy Holt starting on left wing.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Musselwhite; Petty, Whittle, Mohan, Van Blerk; Dudfield, Johnsson, Philpott, Holt; Alexander, Bradshaw.
Subs from: Glennon, Burton, Peat, Morley, Matthews, Beresford, Whitmore, Rowe.
