The midfielder has a back injury, and will be treated by the Hammers medical staff. He could be out for a couple of weeks, but will return to City if he is fit again before the season's out.

18-year-old Noble was left out of the first three games when he signed on loan in February after hurting his back shortly after moving. He missed out on making his 6th appearance at Ipswich on Saturday after a recurrance of the problem.

Peter Taylor will also be without Rui Marques for the derby with Leeds United on Saturday. He's not eligable to play against the side he's currently on loan from.

However, the Tigers boss welcomes Alan Rogers and Stuart Elliott back to the squad. Both missed the Ipswich game with illness, but recovered to play for the reserves yesterday in the 2-1 win at Grimsby. Elliott was on target to level after Grimsby took the lead in the second half, before Darryl Duffy got the winner. Ryan France, who's missed the last three first team games, played a full 90 minutes.
