Ahead of tomorrow's game with Crystal Palace, he told the Hull Daily Mail: "Dave Livermore and Sam Collins are both doubts - at this stage I would have to rate them as 50-50.
"Nick [Barmby] lost his two front teeth and even though he's got a bit of a back problem, he's trained well all week.
"Danny Coles is back in the frame as well. We chose not to play him in the reserves in midweek because we wanted him to get a full day of training with the first team instead."

Nicky Forster is also fit again, but may be kept out of the side by Jon Parkin and Michael Bridges.

Sam Ricketts is still out with a broken cheekbone. Danny Mills will continue in his place at right-back, unless Sam Collins is ruled out, in which case Mills could move back to the centre with Alton Thelwell making his first appearance of the season on the right. Danny Coles would also be an option at either position if deemed fit.

John Welsh or Dean Marney could come straight in for David Livermore if injured.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Boaz Myhill; Danny Mills, Sam Collins, Michael Turner, Andy Dawson; Craig Fagan, Ian Ashbee, David Livermore, Ryan France; Jon Parkin, Michael Bridges.
Subs: Matt Duke, Alton Thelwell, John Welsh, Mark Yeates, Nicky Forster.
