Theo Whitmore

Goodison missed the game on Tuesday with a thigh injury, while Whitmore has picked up a calf injury.

Brian Little said: "Ian hasn't been able to train so he's got to be doubtful while Theo was restricted yesterday because of the calf problem. We'll see how he is but he's determined to play, if it's possible."

The club confirm that it is due to injury that they may not play, and not because they turned down new contracts in the week.

Little also said: "There'll be a couple of changes as I feel a couple of people have lost a bit form with us not winning games, but there won't be anything too drastic."

Either Julian Johnsson or Mark Greaves are expected to be recalled in place of Whitmore to play alongside Richard Sneekes, while Rob Matthews could be dropped. Ryan Williams and Lawrie Dudfield are available to replace him on right-wing.

Gary Alexander

Gary Alexander, who became a hero after scoring 19 goals for Exeter during a loan spell in 99/00, is aiming to end his goal drought against his former side. However, a win is the main aim for the 22-year-old.
"It would be nice to score but I'm not too bothered who gets the goals, just as long as we finish with the three points."

He added: "We're conceding goals at one end and not scoring at the other but the spirit is still good and we want to put things right. We need the fans behind us and I'd just ask them to stick with us and really get behind the lads tomorrow.
"We'll be doing everything we can to halt the slide. There's no miracle cure, though. We've just got to stick together, work hard and hope things start to go our way."

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Musselwhite; Petty, Whittle, Wicks, Edwards; Williams, Sneekes, Johnsson, Beresford; Alexander, Rowe.
Subs from: Glennon, Mohan, Van Blerk, Holt, Greaves, Matthews, Whitmore, Dudfield, Rowe, Bradshaw.
