No Last Minute Moves

Four players left City.

Sam Collins joined Hartlepool for an undisclosed fee, reported to be £75,000.

Young goalkeeper Curtis Aspden made his loan spell at Farsley Celtic permanent for a nominal fee.

Stuart Elliott joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until the end of the season, when his City contract runs out and so be able to join on a free transfer.

A couple of hours before the midnight deadline David Livermore joined League One side Oldham on a initial month's loan. He's also out of contract in the summer so could well be leaving the club permanently after that month is up.

Previously in the window, John Welsh (Chester), Will Atkinson (Mansfield) and Ben Wilkinson (Gretna) left the club on loan, and Steve McPhee (Blackpool), Danny Coles (Bristol Rovers) and Damien Delaney (QPR) all left on permanent transfers for undisclosed fees.

Two signings were made; Peterborough goalkeeper Mark Tyler joined on loan, which was extended to the end of the season yesterday, as did Simon Walton from QPR.

Elsewhere, several ex-Tigers were on the move. Stuart Green left Crystal Palace for Blackpool, and will return to the KC Stadium a week tomorrow along with McPhee and Ben Burgess. Roy Carroll moved from Rangers to Derby on a free transfer, with another former City keeper Stephen Bywater leaving Pride Park to go to Ipswich on loan. David Norris, who like Bywater was previously with City on loan, joins him at Portman Road in a permanent move from Plymouth. Yeovil signed Lee Peltier from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee. Striker David Brown joined Rushden & Diamonds on loan from Accrington Stanley, while Kevin Betsy goes from Bristol City to Walsall on loan.

Sheffield United defender Leigh Bromby, linked with City earlier in the month, joined Watford for £600,000.

The transfer window is now shut, but reopens for loan signings in a week's time for Football League clubs until the 21st of March when no more signings can be made before the run-in.
