Jan Molby will have his entire squad to choose from for the first game of the season against Southend on Saturday. There were worries that midfielder Richie Appleby would miss out with a knee injury, but Molby says it's cleared up and he'll be fit to play.
"He's fine. There are no problems for Saturday. Like the rest of the lads, Richie is looking forward to playing... especially in front of our home fans."

There was a fire at the Kingston Communications Stadium yesterday morning. Full details are not known, but it is thought that it was in the West Stand while workmen were welding. There is no serious damage, and the fire was put out fairly quickly.
Johnson Loan
City are in talks with Leeds about the possibility of taking forward Simon Johnson on loan for the season. He impressed Jan Molby while on trial against Harrogate Town on Monday.

Ian Goodison, who left City on a free transfer at the end of last season, is set to extend his trial with Bristol City. He scored in a friendly win over Hereford, and manager Danny Wilson would like another look at him.
