Smith Weighing Up Options
City are one of a number of clubs hoping to sign Crewe Alexandra defender Shaun Smith. The 31-year-old left-back is out of contract and is thought to be mulling over deals offered by City, Bradford, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday. The Railwaymen have also offered him a one-year contract to take him into his testimonial season at Gresty Road.

Tigers manager Jan Molby said: "We've made Shaun a good offer and we're staying hopeful that he will join us.
"He's away on holiday at the moment, but he has promised us a decision as soon as he gets back."

Supporters Committee Introduced
Fans will have more of a say than ever at Hull City with a committee of supporters being set up by Fans' Liaison Officer Daniel Pratt. Anyone can apply to be on the panel until 5pm on Friday (phone 01482 501427 or e-mail). The 10-15 people chosen fans will be revealed next week.

New Reserve League
The Reserve leagues have been restructured after a number of teams dropped out due to financial difficulties. City will compete in Division One East, alongside Boston United, Darlington, Grimsby Town, Hartlepool United, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Notts County, Scarborough, Scunthorpe United and York City. The fixture list is expected to be out next week.

Season Ticket Sales
The last discounted period for season tickets is now over. Prices will stay fixed from now onwards, with the cheapest adult pass available costing £265. Click here for full price list.

Over 3600 passes have been sold so far.

Save Our Clubs
The Football League's 'Save Our Clubs' campaign continued with all 72 league club chairmen writing to local MPs about the behaviour of Carlton and Granada, who are refusing to pay the £178.5million owed to them.

Meanwhile the Football League are encouraging football fans to boycott ITV's coverage of the World Cup and stick with the BBC.
