Molby Signs Russell

The 19-year-old midfielder played twice for City in competitive matches. He played the last half hour of the LDV Trophy defeat at Port Vale in October 2002, and came on for the last 7 minutes of the 4-1 win over Kidderminster at the KC Stadium last year.

He has also been a regular in the reserve team but has been unable to push for a first team place.

Ironically, the only team he ever played against for City in the league, is now the team he joins on a two-year deal.

The Harriers, managed by former Hull City boss Jan Molby, have two other ex-Tigers in their squad - Dean Keates and Steve Burton - while Richie Appleby is on trial to prove he's worth another chance at Aggborough after quitting them to join City two years ago.
