Molby - who enjoyed a win in his first game back in charge at Aggborough on Tuesday - has snapped up left-sided City defender Steve Burton on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old never actually played while Molby was manager at Boothferry Park. He made his debut in the 3-0 win over Rochdale just after he was sacked in October 2002, and has made 14 first team appearances, mostly from the bench. The last of those was the LDV Trophy win at Darlington when the Hull-born player actually captained the side, but that has been his only competitive outing this season.

Peter Taylor said of the move: "Steve is going to Kidderminster to gain some experience. We've decided to let him go because it's a good opportunity for him to get some first-team action.
"We're not playing them and they are going to be playing against teams who are competing with us."

Taylor insisted that the switch would not be permanent: "There's no way I'm going to allow him to go there on a full-time basis.
"As far as I'm concerned he is going to be a very good player for us, but he's not getting a look in at the moment."

The Tigers boss is certainly well covered in the left-back area with Andy Dawson, Damien Delaney, Andy Holt and Nathan Peat available to him, so he shouldn't miss Burton for a month. Fellow left-back Shaun Smith recently joined Carlisle on a month's loan as he's also failed to get a look-in this season.
