Marshall Move Going Ahead

The deal was hoped to be wrapped up yesterday but unknown "circumstances" had halted it going through. However, negotiations will continue today and Marshall could be in City's squad travelling to Cheltenham tomorrow.

Marshall himself appears keen to make the switch: "At the moment, I'm just waiting for the papers to be signed at the West Brom end but I'm sure there won't be any problems and I'm looking forward to joining Hull.
"They are a big club and when you look at everything they've got, they could be playing at a lot higher level.
"I've got nothing but respect for Peter Taylor. He's a terrific manager and when he asked me if I wanted to join Hull, there was no question."

Over the terms of the deal he added: "The deal is only for a month but who knows what might happen after that. It might not work out. There again, I might settle in well. We'll have to wait and see."
