Margues Set For Debut

The Angolan international who signed on loan from Leeds yesterday could come in to partner Leon Cort at the back. Taylor is keen to move Delaney back into midfield, although he may have to fill in at left back for tomorrow's game. Alan Rogers is suffering from illness and did not travel with the rest of the squad, and looks out of the plans at the moment. Winger Stuart Elliott has also been absent from training all week due to illness and is another doubt. Andy Dawson could come back into contention after over 10 weeks out with a foot injury, while Kevin Ellison is on standby to replace Elliott.

Taylor will consider bringing Alton Thelwell back into the side after resting him and favouring Scott Wiseman for the last two matches. Mark Lynch and John Welsh are also in contention to return to the squad.

There is the usual conundrum over who will partner Jon Parkin up front, if Taylor decides to stick with a 4-4-2 formation.

Robbie Stockdale has returned to the club after playing three times in a loan spell at Darlington.

Ben Burgess has returned to training but is still a long way off a return to action. Nick Barmby is also a continued absence with little progress over his hamstring injury.

Expected line-up (4-4-2): Boaz Myhill; Alton Thelwell, Leon Cort, Rui Margues, Andy Dawson; Stuart Green, Keith Andrews, Damien Delaney, Kevin Ellison; Jon Parkin, Craig Fagan.
Subs from: Matt Duke, Mark Lynch, Scott Wiseman, John Welsh, Mark Noble, Billy Paynter, Darryl Duffy.
